Seriously, what is good about this game?

The game just isn't fun anymore, especially since the game came out, things just get worse and worse, it's at the point where every time I boot up this game I just get reminded of how it's just a more chaotic and scrubbier Overwatch with a Marvel license.

Matchmaking

The matchmaking has no idea where to put people. You're constantly in games where your enemies clearly stand no chance, then when this happens you're put in games where you constantly have to sweat your butt off if you want to win or even stand a chance, people were already complaining about it before, but now it's just been amplified and it's even worse nowadays.

Balance

The devs clearly don't know what to do here, ever since the game came out it feels like this game is at it's worst now. They're always overbuffing and overnerfing characters (Ex. being overnerfing Strange and Mantis while overbuffing Rocket and Human Torch) at this point they need to stop listening to this already braindead community, because it's going to hurt them in the long run. There's also the dps and strategist propaganda. All people want to do nowadays is insta-lock dives because they only have one braincell and just want to harass backline squishies, even though it's clearly not beneficial for the team. Then there's the strategist where it's basically just Kiriko's ult but on literal crack. It's literally just "Press Q to win the team fight." Sorry but this is just lazy design, no brains required at all, just wait if your team is in trouble or wait 5 to 10 seconds after the enemy support pressed Q, no wonder some people think strategist is the easiest role right now.

The Community

This community by far is probably the worst I've seen in the hero shooter genre of video games. All people do is constantly go at each others throats, start throwing because of minor inconveniences, or blame their teammates when something doesn't go their way. Every other game you'll see in game chat "GG no heals" or "GG no peels" from the insta lock dps or strategists. There's SO many babies out there, then when things do go their way you hear "GG ez" or "Definitely a bot lobby." Then strategists have the nerve to go "on strike" despite four heroes in the strategist category being S tier and having the best ults in the game. It's like they can't play without being completely overtuned and broken.

Bad Optimization

This isn't really a problem for me, but it is for half of the PC player base, the game isn't well optimized at all. You shouldn't need a 40 or 50 series for a hero shooter to run smoothly. The day developers stop using Unreal Engine 5 is the day video games begin to heal from this terrible unoptimized era of video games.

Ranking System

I never thought you can make a worse ranking system than something like Overwatch and Apex, but here comes Marvel Rivals with a pleasant surprise. You always stomp people once or twice, then the game proceeds to think you're some unemployed Twitch streamer who plays 16 hours a day. Then, just like everything else, they made it worse with the release of Season 2, and for some reason decided to change how you earn points. Whoever decided this was a good idea, needs to be fired on the spot.

Conclusion

Again, back to my first question, WHAT exactly is good about this game? Me personally can't really find anything what makes something a good game to be in the game, at least currently, so what do others find good about it? The only thing I can see is that it's a different hero shooter from Overwatch and the Marvel IP. That's literally it, fortunately for me though, I can't be taken in from the honeymoon phase or locked-in off of nostalgia, because this is probably the most overrated game we've had in past the decade.

I stopped playing for 3 weeks in season 1 and 1 week during season 2, just came back today which lead me to making this post, so what's the excuse now?

It seems you just see the flaws, and some subjetive ones. IF you dont like unnistal, We dont need 123512 post a day about somebody leaving.

matchmaking is a legit skill, you need to know the right time of day, or how to find other competant players... otherwise its an EOMM shiz show

I've felt the same way and the devs are addressing it. I think throwing fun giant sized matches in there helps bolster. My issue is with comp...its entirely too difficult to get ranked up...I rank up faster in fortnite lolz and my gen x brain can barely keep up. imo I am
encouraged by the fact that the devs said a new character every 2 months...imagine the library they have to choose from. If they moved that to monthly, I really think it could be even greater. They're listening to feedback for sure. But sometimes you gotta take a break to miss the game again. I get it

This game literally did the impossible. It makes Overwatch look like a functional game. Seriously this games balance is in the dumpster.

to me in this type of game the fun thing is to learn. learn new heroes learn new places in the map.
i dont know, i still have a lot to learn so i still get a lot of fun out of it.
