Yes, it's moronic. They just need to completely reset the season SR.
Winning should really be the only performance that matters. People constantly under-performing will have a rank that reflects that and people who actually play as a team to secure wins, will have a win/loss ratio that reflects that. Simple as.
The Rivals devs are slow on the uptake and they're adjusting the stupid performance ♥♥♥♥, but it really should just be completely axed.
I think many stategist are getting a hard time due diving meta. I usually have divers into me every ranked match.
I agree , they agravatted the dps instapick issue, i guess the next mid season will be better with the patch.
I'm the one who's always ready to fill and swap for the win and current system punishes such behavior. This is nonsence.
Yep, they say they don't want Role-queue because they want people to be able to flex, but now they're punishing flexing with the stupid performance based ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's so dumb.
The problem was never how many points you get.... the match making system literally puts you in matches where players simply can't play the game.... I just had an iron man finish the 2 full rounds at 5k damage... in gold........ and our namor almost had 15k damage without the team up..... The difference in dps... should not be that different. He simply can't play. The game rewards bad play even prior to this patch. Every game is just a stomp i think in my whole season 2 so far i had 1 close match where it was nailbiting off a slight misplay on my end.... to
sum it up.
1) Healers gain way less points per game and its like almost 1.5-2x the point difference which is WILD. If you swap to help the team you screwed yourself
2) The match making system is BEYOND the worst i've ever seen across 2010 on ward games.
3) The dev's didn't even listen. They are buffing damage across healers..... and only nerfing the range of damage from spiderman.......... They clearly don't play their own game to know how fast you actually die as a healer.
4) Competitive integrity - bans should be all ranks, duo queue max should be at all ranks.
5) Way too many leavers this season - its affected almost half of my games
6) players who do not deserve rank ups are actively ranking up. I just had an iron man do 5k damage over 8 minutes...... 637 dmg / min with only 6 deaths..... our namor had 1591 dmg/min without the hulk team up with 7 deaths.... this shows our iron man SIMPLY does not know how to play the game. The iron man was GM by the way FYI... not possible in a normal ranked game bros getting hard carried every game. This same player played another game as namor... hawkeye cap... only 2.6k damage..... in 5 minutes.... the guy is terrible. Next game plays iron fist with a similar result... guys winrate is like 35% in gold...... bro should be like bronze/silver.
He got GM with a 40-45% winrate...... wow who would of guessed the system rewards bad play.
