She is Erik's child. So she is a mutant.

Wanda’s powers were given to her by the high evolutionary, I don’t think the woman who famously said “no more mutants” would be keen to genocide her own race.

Also in voice lines with Emma, Emma speaks to her of what she did against “my” people, not “our”.

Wanda is a mutate
No, Wanda is not a mutant. She has dialogue with Magneto where he says "You may not be a true mutant, but you'll always be welcome on Krakoa." For whatever reason, she isn't considered a mutant in game.

Differences between comics. In some she was in some she wasn't

^^^

She was a mutant in the comics until her and quicksilver’s status was retconned. It’s a pretty common misconception which might change in the future, but as of current, (and the rivals adaptation) she is no mutant.

Mutates are DC

Depending on your timeline - Wanda Maximoff is a Mutant with the ability to control Chaos Magic - she was born on Wundagore to the High Evoloutionary OR was found in Psiskovia(?) OR was Magneto's daughter OR was whichever Multiverse background.

She's always been a Mutant though - as she's one of the Nexus Beings. And she really would kill her own race - House of M proved it.

What does DC stand for?

It was mainly a decision from Disney not having the rights to anything X-men when they brought them into the mcu with age of ultron. Maybe one day they’ll switch it back

However... Spiderman is also a mutant in some timelines, as is Doom, while Peni isn't, while Miles is... it just gets complicated.

For whatever reason - the above list works :)

I think, they had classic X-men in their minds while making the quest

Nexus Beings aren't necessarily mutants. Kang the Conqueror is a Nexus Being. A mutant can be a Nexus Being but so can any species.

That's not strictly relevant though. What is relevant is Magneto having a voice interaction with Wanda where he says "You may not be a true Mutant, but you will always be welcome on Krakoa." I think that pretty definitively confirms that Marvel Rivals' Scarlet Witch is not a Mutant

1) he's talking to his daughter.
2) He's talking to an alternate version
3) They've fixed it now. Emma is now a mutant :)
So, all bets are off whether these Mutants are "true" or not.

Also, what makes a true Mutant? Maggie, you know that's how you got in trouble back in the 40s....

Emma's dmg not counting towards the quest is fixed in this patch.
