Technically speaking, inside a video game everything is an object. These are not men and women trapped in a virtual world or anything. They are merely polygons and image maps assembled together in such a way to look like a man or woman.

ik this is ragebait but anyways comments of players dont refelct the devs. The misogyny in the gaming community overall is bad its not exclusive to rivals. The devs are acc doing a great job in my opinion with their female characters. Some characters are dressed more provocatively than others but women are allowed to dress like that and you cant say they are giving every female hero that treatment when we have mantis, sg, storm etc who all have non sexual designs more suited to their characters.

Im honestly very pleased with the direction the devs have taken the female heroes in. theres great diversity in character design and you can tell they really care about being faithful to the heroes while also making them unique to this game.

None of the more sexualized ones are even that bad either, they dont look like stripper like emma frost is p covered but she still has that sexy femme fatale look that shes known for
