Can You Fix The Matchmaking?
How are we in 2025..... and the match places you in a game that is practically over and your generally on the losing team by a MILE.

1) How is this good that the team just has a leaver?

Potential Solution : If your leaving more then 20 matches a month.... you should just be banned from the season. Especially once they fix the crashing issue (assuming the fix actually works). You should not be leaving / rage quitting matches no matter how bad your team is.

2) How is this good to put a player in a losing match on purpose? I queue up for a quickmatch and i get placed on a losing team where generally the support has left the match because their team is terrible.

Solution: Don't make both sets of players have bad experiences. I understand it's Quickmatch but its just a waste of time.

3) How do you win 4 games, then automatically lose 4 gameS? Simple Its the match making formula they use IDC if its EOMM / SBMM Whatever they are using its trash.

Solution - Have points gained based on a win but also based on performance...... I dont think its hard to use the average rank data from season 1 to be used into season 2.

Example #1: a normal win is between 20-30 pts, you win as a healer but you heal like 3-5k SOMEHOW..... you actually only gain like 10-20 points. you 100% should gain less points for a bad performance.

Example #2: a win with you exceeding above the average gives you points up to a maximum of 2x the normal amount of match points (40-60).

You would also have to do calculations for tanks, dps, healers seperately, these are just examples. Its absolutely insane that i can have a healer on my team heal averagely 15-30k in a match and then have a guy who heals only 3k at diamond..... How is that even possible, holding left click/right click will literally give you way more then this.

4) Can games actually implement a meaningful rank system.... Every game tries to feel sorry for you and give you this fake sense of you achieving a good rank when you normally wouldn't deserve it Its the biggest copium i've ever seen.

Example : In stretfighter 6, im diamond zangief, but in reality i dont think i am actually a diamond player. Its the game giving you more pts for a win.... less for a loss and if you withold a 50/50 winrate, you will slowly increase your rank until your hardstuck. Game funnels you all to be in the same spot. (first funnel is platinum ..... second funnel is masters)..... This game is exactly the same for rivals.

Solution: Implement a system that distinguishes actual skill from someone being carried. Now if your in a premade, obviously theres nothing we can do to stop this.

5) Can all ranked games have atleast 1 ban.......why is it only occurring at higher ranks. I simply don't understand this logic. Every spiderman on my team sucks..... don't get offended good spiderman players i'm just sharing my experience. This goes with wolverine and also blackwidow..... they just throw.

Solution: Give a team 1 ban each or make it similar to the higher ranks.

Its just getting annoying with these crucial match making flaws.... obviously the game isn't dying yet over stuff like this, but man it does make you want to log off.

I feel your pain, normally, I rarely rage quit in online games but when i enter a match with people who are clearly at a lower skill level than me, it sucks and I get so tired carrying my ♥♥♥♥ teammates for the whole match. there have been too many matches where I'm forced to play as Luna Snow and carry a team of 4 DPSs and I always get MVP or SVP
They and many other games are making terrible products that the match making needs to be fixed.
Yes, pre-fabricated match outcomes are awful. What some may not realize is that in QP there are bots for some stupid reason. But, thats not enough for Rivals to finely control whatever "engagement" they hope to achieve so they also just tip the scales in Ranked matches too. Its outrageous to me and outright disrespectful really. Why does this game think any of us want to waste our time playing predetermined matches?

I dont agree about the leaving thing though. People leave for good reason. They don't want to waste their time playing some bullsh... game they are going to lose regardless of their effort.

I don't understand how this matchmaking is taking note on either my performance or my continuous play. I've had the biggest losing streak I've ever been on. My individual performance does nothing for my games. I went 24-3 one game while the 2nd highest kill on my team was 16. It seems to me that ALL of my teammates are bots or AI. No idea what I did to deserve the matchmaking I'm getting but I'm sick and tired of losing and being hard stuck plat after hitting GM in Season 1.

Matchmaking doesn't care about your Performance, all that Matters is your consistent "staying in the Game".

You lose and keep playing. NetEase's wonderful EOMM recognizes this as Commitment and lets you keep losing, because you keep playing.

Take an 8-Hour break after 1-2 Losses. NetEase Algorythm believes that an 8-hour break has diminished your commitment and will give you Wins now to encourage your Commitment again so you keep playing.

I miss community driven server lists. Those were always superior then any form of matchmaker out there...
