VRAM and RAM error

guys i have a 4060 8go and 16go RAM I5 10400F and since the last update i can't play the like when i click on play QM i have the error message

16 gigs of ram was required like 10 years ago, you should have 32gigs by now.

Yeah, I've bought another 16Gb RAM because of MR - the game runs way better now.

Id suggest clean installing your graphics driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller) and verify game files after every patch via after every patch

And use the lowest settings available in game! Global illumination/reflections/textures/shadows LOW. Hopefully this works for you!

Ive got 32 and the system will allocate up to 19GB at points... most 32gb ddr4 kits run for 50USD now. If you happen to upgrade just spend the extra and get a 32gb kit, dont mix and match modules other wise youll run the risk of instability.

Reset your Nvidia and marvel rival caches, it likely isn't a issue with your specs. the game plays just fine with 16gb of ram until i had the same issue you're having. doing a deep reset of caches fixed mine

16 gigs is fine. I recommend you search for this issue elsewhere, since the steam forums are the most useless place you’ll ever visit.

I've had this problem since launch of season 1. Every few games it crashes due to a memory leak. I have 32 gigs of DDR5 and a 4070. I don't understand why it seems to be a problem for so many people I've talked to but apparently not a large enough problem for them to fix.

I couldn't be able to play since the season 1.5 update. The game kept crashing not every few matches but EVERY MATCH. Tried so many fixes but not one worked until yesterday.

Here are some possible fixes that you can try, I don't know exactly which one fixed my game but you can try them all.

Clear the shader cache

It's different for every GPU but I'm using AMD so you can follow this steps:

1. Open the Adrenaline app
   
2. Go to the Gaming Tab
   
3. Open "Advanced" dropdown, find "Reset Shader Cache" option and click on "Perform Reset"

Clean all the useless junk

Download "CCleaner" and perform a quick PC cleaning.
Then go to "Tools" → Registry then click on "Scan for Issues". After it's finished scanning then click on "Fix all issues" (might want to back up your registry when it asks).

Clear the RAM cache (i think this one that fixed it)

If you go to taskmanager, then go to Performance Tab → Memory, there's an information of how much cached your RAM has occupied. To clear this:

1. Download an app called RAMMap (it's free and portable)
   
2. Open the one called "RAMMap64"
   
3. Go to "Empty" menu then click on "Empty Standby List"

If you head back to taskmanager you can see that the "Cached" have decreased. I suggest do this everytime you want to launch the game.
