namor's new turret is going to be kinda problematic
the early access videos have been revealed and jesus christ, they gave a turret almost triple the health, more range, higher damage, and if the turret doesn't die during it's duration(he gets to cast it again in three seconds)

We will see. Giant green laser indicator will make the squid an easy focus to the team (the game is telling you to kill the threat). Namors ice squid is harder to notice and the slow would make him have an easier time landing his autos and enhanced spear auto for even more squid damage.

The Spider-Man fan boy complaining about something that's not even out yet. O this is pure gold. Can't wait for that tentacle monster to blast your love interest out of the sky.
Hey nearly, you say it's going to be a problem, but that is the entire point. Namor needed a buff to become a solo threat, and now he will be. Just think about it this way:

1. Most players will not play Namor without a Luna team-up, which is being removed.
2. His new team-up is with Hulk, who is frequently banned in Diamond and above already, and that team-up only impacts his ultimate.

The objective was clear, and I think Namor is going to be a great character to play now and absolutely dangerous in the right hands. Whether or not he is too powerful remains to be seen, but from what we have seen so far, I do not think it will a problem if everyone is equally skilled and playing smart, which the new ranking changes are suppose to incorporate more skill balance in each rank anyway.

TL;DR -- Namor needed solo viability, and this should not make him overpowered, just a very good character to play solo.

I actually like that the turrets are less squishy. Now they'll be more of a problem and less of an annoyance. Takes, what, less than a second to vaporize the current versions?

Lol. Its the exact opposite of what the whole player base was asking for.

If anything the Squids need their range reduced from 40 meters to 30. And dont even try to argue on how that would ruin Namor because it wouldn't. The Squidbillies rarely even ever get to shoot anything past 30 meters to begin with considering all the bends and angles levels have. But the fact remains its absurd that with the acquisition speed they have that they can shoot that far in the first place.

But don't worry y'all Im sure Ultron being the new flavor of the Month to help keep player Engagement is going to be cheap as ♥♥♥ with his drones with lock on speed just as fast.

At least Namors squids are stuck to a wall and not flying around.

His squids are never hard to see. People just never shoot them.

He’s already one of the best DPS in the game, what are you talking about?! With no team up he’s the best peeler in the game and still outputs tons of damage.
Can't wait to pick Hulk for my Namor because FИCK SPIDERMAN!

Could have fooled me with the number of times I've heard Namor players absolutely begging for the Luna Snow team-up just to play like trash without it, or having a Vanguard yelling at a Namor from the start for playing him without the team-up. It all gives the impression that Namor needs the team-up to be effective, rather than it just being a boost to an already good character

Regardless, I don't think it will be much of an issue. The squids are an essential tool for Namor. They deserve to have some more sustainability. Same goes for Moon Knight and his ankhs. Both of them deserve the buffs.
