I have some bad news for you if you think competitive mode is any different. I'm not exaggerating that it's actually worse. Maybe 1/10 games you'll get will be a real match that's good.

In bottom elo maybe, but once your hit Plat teammates tend to get better. We'll see how it feels with Gold getting bans now.

Hah, comp is so much worse than QP.

In QP, the high rank people are identified as high rank and you get some on your team too. In comp, they're just the level 10 losers smurfing and you don't get anything.

Smurfs feel like absolute bull**** in comp and I play against Celestials routinely in QP.

If you want do ranked, I'd suggest waiting for the season 2. At this point, compared to a few weeks back, it's like every rank has gone up one or two. And by that plat/diamond often feels like gold from a few weeks back. You'll get your share of people who'll stick to a hero, no matter how badly it's not working out. If anyone even dares to suggest anything you'll just get drama. I've tried a few times to ask some DPS to switch to wolverine, when facing a good Groot that makes us struggle, and they'll just throw the match. Mind you, I didn't even ask to switch off from their beloved DPS, just switch to a different form.

On top of that there's a hefty amount of alts going around. Sometimes they're ok, just doing what they're doing and minding their business but quite a few of them will throw a match at the slightest aswell.
