Those balance changes are awful.
Several strategists gutted for no reason (like, why Mantis? Why Rocket?)

No nerfs to Spider-Man

Nuking the tanks people actually want to use.

As a cap player I see it as a nerf. The shield was a breakpoint , I often only survived long enough to get a pick because the shield was at 10-15HP left.

5% is good, but it's going to worthless if Cap can't stay up long enough to find a viable target- which was his entire playstyle.


75hp is huge that´s more than he loses on his shield and it´s permanent. not just an ability. an obvious buff. and he´s also an anchor for bucky now. which will make him better/played more often.

He got 100 HP from the team up, it's a net 25 gain overall, if you survived with a 10 HP shield, then you would survive easier with the extra health unless you get finished by a head shot that would have hit shield instead, on top of that he got 5% damage, which means he needs 1 less hit to combo 250 HP with 2 punch 2 throw, skill direct hit, and slamming a 275 will let you do the same combo, more damage also means faster ultimate slightly.
But they nerfed his health to begin iwth- so the team up is a wash and they nerfed bucky- so the team up overall is less viable.

Combos are well and good, but if cap is dead he's going to be a trade-dive instead of a staller- taking away the entire character identity.

At this point you'd be better off playing venom in every scenario.

And they nerfed bucky in 3 ways this patch.

Cap got a hard nerf. The 5% dmg is a compensation prize for losing his ability to stall point.

he lost 25 health and got 100 back thats a plus of 75 health and a 5%dmg buff on top of that. thats a huge buff. you must be trolling at this point

He wasn't nerfed at all, his HP went from 675 to 750, shield from 400 to 350, and he just does 5% more damage, unless the last hit that kills you is a head shot that the 50 shield health would be active during it's just a net gain in health, health the strategists can heal you back to unlike the shield. Nevermind shield can be overdestroyed so it could have taken the same amount of hits regardless of 400 vs 350 health. This is also the max health of the shield, so if you don't let it max out after it's been damaged it's not a loss at all to it's durability in the long run vs strategists topping you off as a huge positive.

Funny thing is that supports like Luna, CnD and IW got no serious nerfs or changes. Apparently, the devs think they are 100% fine, so expect your games to keep being slogged by endless invincibility ults.

i think the biggest buff for cap might be in his team-up(depending on what happens when cap and bucky clash)

The rocket racoon changes are a buff WTF why are they buffing that brainless no-skill hero??

Just burn them down with Punisher ult. Moon Knight and Iron Man also got buffs and are popular support ult deleters.

even with the changes, i don't think MK can kill through a supports ult, atleast without the help of a luna or rocket ult

It's debatable, they buffed his healbot play style but made his DPS a lot more worthless to do since spamming the same line is now actually how you play him instead of shooting other directions and DPS in between. The mobility nerf is also a huge nerf, I mean I don't think it actually hurts his survivability AT ALL against any of the dive beyond Iron Fist, he is a lot weaker to iron Fist only though. Ultimate buff is just a buff really beyond 1st fight having it before the other strategists could win a fight before the heal ultimates and it's slightly slower to charge to get first.
