No cross-progression is killing this game for me.

When this game released I really just wanted to play it on PC. But since all my friends are on console I was sorta forced to play it on console. No mouse and keyboard support unlike other competitive games on console was insult to injury honestly. Although, I get it .. it's hard if not impossible to have MnK / controller parity. But it's still extremely annoying considering all other games do have it and the literally army of ximmers that the devs threatened to ban but clearly can't ban because there probably isn't a way to detect the use of such cheats. So now you have people who use both mouse and keyboard and get aim assist on top. Which, despite how much I want mouse and keyboard I will never stoop too.

Anyway, ended up getting my battlepasses on console. Bought some skins. Absolutely love the game (except the EBMM). I'm LV 46 or something and I didn't play comp too seriously but I have made it to diamond 1 and could easily get to grandmaster / celestial if me and my friends actually tried and put more time in this game.

I've been using MnK on console for years now in fact I've started to use my console less and less because a lot of games do not support MnK. Recently I got a very powerful new PC and this made me even less inclined to want to play on console. And since we are mostly playing quick games lately I've been playing on PC a lot and me and my friends are using discord for voice chat (they on console/ps5 me on PC). It works great. But it absolutely SUCKS that I do not get any progression from playing on PC. That I don't have any of my skins, battlepass etc. If you want to restrict console + PC COMP play that's fine, but why if we can do quick match don't I at least have XP/BP progression and my skins? I also can only really put my twitch drops on either PC or console.

I don't mind if COMP is separated into console / PC but I should be able to play on my own damn account and have my skins etc on my account. So now when I want to play on PC, do some quick with friends, do some solo climbing.. I just kinda feel like I'm wasting my time on my dummy account. Meanwhile I absolutely dread having to play on console because I'm forced to use controller. It really, really sucks. If I start buying BP on PC well then I miss out on everything I have unlocked and bought up till now which feels equally bad and if they ever do add cross progression I doubt they will allow us to merge accounts.

PLEASE add cross progression. Just divide comp into console and PC. There is already crossplay. No excuse about "platform holders" makes sense. Yes no ♥♥♥♥ Sony and MS (esp sony probably since they dominate the console market nowadays) are greedy af. But you can't tell me that netease who are making billions of this game and the BP/skins etc we all buy can't get this to work when all the other companies and games have done so. Every other game has crossprogression!

Im not reading all of that, they literally said cross progression was coming. Most likely in season 2.

They're probably busy working on a Switch 2 port of the game for all we know. Developing and programming is hard and takes time.

Only thing we need after cross-progression is input-based matchmaking. Having gamepad user in kb/m lobby is just throwing game.

Yes, I would be fine with input based matchmaking but I guess that's already the case on console. On console you can choose between console or crossplay with pc (for quick play) and since the game doesn't support mnk on console it's basically input based matchmaking. But on PC you can't choose. To be fair the aim assist in this game is pretty bad. They should add mouse and keyboard support for console and then also add input based matchmaking. Although that would also make my life a little harder since my friends all use controller. I don't mind using controller to play comp with them, just want to be able to use mnk when I solo at least and still have all my skins etc

Honestly I just want cross progression to use my own skins etc. It's annoying I can't use my Psy skin .. also, I wish I could remove her hat lol

The lack of crossprogression has nothing to do with coding or developing. They said it's because the platforms have weird rules etc. (Basically Sony / Xbox, but esp Sony it seems wants a cut of the profits).

They promised that crossprogression would come all the way back when the game released and we've not heard anything about it since then. If no one says anything then it just will never happen. There is no indication that crossprogression is coming in S2 .. although I really hope that is the case. They should at least allow for MnK on console and then have input based matchmaking like the other guy suggested
