So Glad Griefing Is Reportable

I remember a match at the start of Season 1.5 where the game turned into a 5v6, someone refused to surrender on all 4 attempts, and I got flamed here for saying I reported the guy for "throwing".

Well, now I experienced something ten times worse. A Convergence match where someone rage quits Round 1, making another 5v6. Someone refuses to surrender after two attempts, and both Punisher and Squirrel Girl sit in spawn spamming ranged attacks for four minutes straight while Peni, Dagger (me), and Invisible Woman actually play the game We don't like it, the enemy team doesn't like it.

I actually snuck onto the point to just try and capture 33% near the end, but didn't get to the save point and we lost 3-0 with 0% capture progress.

I've successfully gotten players penalized for griefing matches like this before, so it's only a matter of time before that Punisher and Squirrel Girl get penalized. Almost a complete waste of time if it weren't for me Terror Caping a 3 HP Iron Man as he attempted to fly into his Invisible Woman's ult. That was worth a good laugh watching the replay back.

What do you expect from an unfair match? I understand if it was a full team where one person is throwing, but this is ridiculous

I expect one of two mutually exclusive things
1) Surrender the match and let everyone move on.
OR
2) Actually make an attempt to play the game.

Locking yourself in or near spawn just so you don't die in a lost match is pointless and annoys everyone else who has to draw out the game (in this case, nine players). If is especially frustrating for the 3 teammates who are actively still trying to play the game due to your refusal to surrender the match.

Surrender or play the game, simple as that. Don't hold the entire lobby hostage.

This game should do like some other games do and make it so that if someone's irrevocably gone from a comp game (left or been dc'd for a while) anyone else can leave with no penalty beyond the game being considered a loss.

This would get abused in a heartbeat and cause more problems than it solves as a result. MORE people would leave matches, as soon as they figured out that leaving a match = no points lost.
