i think dive may need a nerf
right now it feels like dive is just a nerf to namor away from being really OP and im wondering what do you think could be done to prevent it

They can literally dive in every 10 seconds over and over again with very high chance to eliminate ine person and it is down hill from there. It doesn't take like 1 minute to set up the dive lol.
Venom definitely can't, his big healthpool takes a while to be healed up after dive attempts. At the very least he has to wait for Symbiotic Resistance to come back which has a 15s CD,

Spiderman kinda can go in and out, but every time he gets hit his dives become riskier, so eventually he's going to have to disengage to get a healthpack or return to the team for healing.

The thing is, though, every time they dive and don't get someone, they're basically getting no value. Like sure, they'll building a little ult charge, but Venom's ult is also underwhelming (ult combos with Rocket and Luna aside), and the enemy supports are probably building ult faster. Meanwhile, your team's front line should be wasting their tanks and supports, which then cuts off their ability to re-engage since they can't get healed up. Dive is kind of an "all or nothing" playstyle that doesn't usually have good sustain if the divers aren't getting value. That's part of why the 0-15 Spiderman player meme is so well-known.

If they are coordinated dive then it's 6 vs 4 until they dive, they dive at the same time you still have a year to react to Spiderman combo and Venom himself isn't a threat unless he has godlike aim getting constant 4x head shots, you can still easily heal through it. You know what's better than coordination with Venom, any ranged DPS just shooting the same target not a tank at the same time, you won't even be able to react and are already dead.

Every 10 seconds, like you realize an enemy ranged DPS could do over 2000 damage in that time right, in the fight the whole time, but he is practically dead in the middle of nowhere doing nothing, until he goes in to do less damage than the ranged are still doing, to easily be healed through, why not bring another ranged DPS and make it so 2000 more damage happened in that time frame and out damaged the heals, or the DPS just flanks and pumps that into the healers for a kill they will actually have a hard time preventing. Seriously getting back from spawn doesn't take too long most of the time, but divers are out of the fight for long periods of time constantly, just for inconsistent killing ability that works depending purely on the enemy skill rather than their own, not that it didn't need skill to do that killing attempt, just that the enemy skill matters more than your own in the end.
Learn to counter dive, i'll see some stupid racoon crying about beign dived by spiderman all game, when ythey can jsut go loki or adam.
