3 Stars AI Matches
They won't usually push up with the team, they won't take flank routes, they CAN'T communicate so they can't add anything to the social atmosphere or team strategy.
I hate being grouped with them, and I'll leave a match if I see there's more than 1 bot teammate on the TAB loading screen. They're agonizing to deal with on Defense, but on Attack at least they follow the cart (usually).
I can empathize, the ally Bot teammates also do not seem to respond to any prompts (Such as asking for heals or to attack/defend the objective)
The Bots that I have been referring to are the ally AI Bots in 3 Stars AI matches whose game history are on private. But you do bring up a possible scenario, I will keep a look out for accounts that are farming for level 10.
I will have to disagree and inform you that it is possible to get AI Bots as allies when playing in 3 Stars AI matches (Unsure about 1 or 2 Stars AI matches).
If you play at non-peak hours where there are not enough human players to fill your team, the game can and will field AI Bots as your allies in your team when in the game mode against AI.
Hmm, you might be right to some extent. But based on my experience, the Ally Bots in PvAI will have the same configurations as the Ally Bots in Quick Match when you lose too many games in a row.
The Ally Bots in PvAI or Quick Match will all be below Level 10, they would not have Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese characters in their names (I'm playing on the Asia server), their profile banners will be empty, and their profiles will be restricted when trying to access to view their details.
I've gotten level 100 through VS AI games (I don't enjoy PvP). I have seen so many bot teammates in VS AI that it has become a legitimate nuisance. These official bots are different from the leech bots that players are leveling by kick-evading. (Those leech bots seem to infest only 1-star VS AI, but have heard they're in Conquest as well).
It's definitely something they add heavily to VS AI during non-peak hours, I've gotten entire teams of bots in VS AI 10's of times. The higher the difficulty, the more likely you are to get bot teammates (probably because of lower # of players queued for it). Just check the nameplates during match load, and check for the telltale bot signs (level 5 or less, no customization, bottom of the list in the party, their load bar flashes green/yellow once fully loaded in).
