I am posting this again after not getting a response weeks ago. I am at my wits end ;-; the game is so miserable to play like this.

I don’t know how to post images of my settings but If someone tells me how and wants to see I can, but theyre at default anyways right now.

*I HAVE NO SOUND.*

*Issue:*
The game has sound on the launcher, but as soon as the game loads no sound at any part of the game, menu, lobby etc, at all. This started about two patches ago. The output device is also correct, it is the same as the one on my pc settings and my sound works everywhere else including with other steam games.

*Sound issue patch from months ago:*
I’m aware that around 2 months ago people had this issue and the fix was found to be that the game had registered the input device as their headphones. That is NOT my issue, my headphones are not registered at my input device on my pc sound settings or in my in game settings. Furthermore my mic works fine when I have it plugged in.

*What I’ve tried:*
Restarting my pc
Reinstalling the game (multiple times)
Restoring sound settings to default
Plugging out and plugging in my headphones again
Validating game files on steam
Waiting for a new patch to possibly fix it
Screaming and crying

I have no idea what else I can try to fix this and Ive yet to see anyone with my issue for as long as ive had it so im convinced im the problem. I’m not a computer person either, I have the general knowledge of a gen z gamer so I’ve basically exhausted my list of fixes and since no one else seems to have had this issue I cant find any fixes online.

If anyone has ANY other ideas on how to being the sound back please help me even if its something stupid that I mightve missed this has been going on for too long and it is so random too.

For starters, what kind of headphones are you using?

If you're on windows, check the sound mixer (right click the speaker icon in the taskbar, click on Volume mixer). Is the game muted or low volume? Is it on the same audio device as the other programs?
