"grandmaster" should be silver

It's too easy to get to GM and its a disgrace to the title "grandmaster", can we please rename it to silver and put everyone below GM into bronze?

in overwatch it actually takes some skill in this game its like participation award

By definition of the how ranked systems work, grandmaster is simply a percentage of players. It's not easier or harder to attain in comparison to any other grandmaster by comparison to people.

I'll give you benefit of the doubt and not call you a troll and mention that master duel made the highest rank plat for the first like 3 seasons because they didn't want people calling themselves masters before people learned the game. I can agree with that line of thinking if that's what you are implying.

i dont think this is true at all since there is no MMR in this game, ranked is all based on your points within that rank and since they award more points than you lose just by 50/50 winning (especially with the shield blocking loss points), it is very possible for the entire population of the game to be in grandmaster.

i would seriously ask for proof that it is a percentage of the players like how other games do, because i dont think this is true at all

as of just before season 1.5 when i hit GM it was the top 4% of players, on top of that the loss shield isnt in plat or diamond so if you are truly going 50/50 it would take you an enormous amount of time to rank up

I'm hard stuck low gold support in Overwatch after 3000's + of hours. I blamed Smurfs, Trolls, Throwers, Leavers as my reason for hard stuck
I'm stuck in this loop of GM3, DIA1, GM3, DIA1 after 200 hours of no damage Rocket

Edit: Voice coms in Overwatch. No voice coms in Rivals. Both Solo que only (I have no friends)
