Please ban Tracker.gg
Game is designed for you to have fun with your favourite characters, but some tryhard-ers/"I only play meta heroes" are making the game worse not just by playing namor/hela/bucky but also taking your hero away from you using tracker.gg. For anyone who doesnt know what tracker.gg is, It's a 3rd party website/app to help reveal players informations and working pre match as a snitch showing who are on the enemy team, their stats,... Hiding name pre match doesnt work I think, you have to register/login tracker.gg to hide it yourself. Not everybody willing to do that, maybe that's not even work! Thank you!

Nobody is countering you directly using tracker stats.
The Records are always Post-Match, never as a match starts.

No. I use it to check for botmatches after the fact.

You can just do this in game.
Literally just make your account private.

Not always. Outside of some vague sense of how they're playing and maybe their names (which is shakier these days) my only tool is looking at their career history, which for some reason I have yet to determine is not an option i'm always given.

If they're playing like ♥♥♥♥ and you can't look at their career, they're probably bots. You do not need to determine this with 100% certainty.

The game offers a solution to this.

  1. Hit the Escape Button on your keyboard or click the cog-wheel in the upper-right corner from the main screen.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Social settings tab.
  4. Scroll down.
  5. Enable the Hide Own Name (Competitive) setting.

As the setting describes, this temporarily hides your name during the loading screen, ban phase, hero selection, and for a couple minutes after the game starts.

Best answer. The game just added protection against being target-banned in the last update. Maybe OP didn't know.
Ngl if your in diamond+ you should just learn more than one character. Also you can hide you name or just private your profile if you really need to that badly, but tbh it doesn't happen enough for me to enable it. It's also kinda weird to complain about people being sweaty and using good heros when your litterally playing a gamemode called competitive lol.

If you are not trying why are you even playing competative? Why do you need bring quick play mentality to competative mode. The mode is all about trying your best to show your skills against other skillful players. You want casual chill play stay in quickplay
