They are against the terms of service but so far I don't think anyone has been banned from using skin mods, I don't think there is a way for the game to detect it yet. But I would still avoid mods right now until they patch the rce vulnerability because someone can create malware to exploit it.

Dont use mods, you will get banned, Devs stated that mods arent allowed and they will ban for it. Buy some skins instead

That is false, they said they won't help if something goes wrong, but never said they will ban anyone for using them.

NetEase had already warned Marvel Rivals players that using mods might cause problems, and reinforced that message in a statement to IGN: "It is not recommended to modify any game files, as doing so carries the risk of getting banned." You can try. Its your entire fault if you get banned,.

Why would NetEase want to ban mods? Apart from the potential lost revenue associated with the sale of skins and potential intellectual property concern, mods may affect the balance of gameplay or even the performance of the game itself. Indeed, modder Prafit said that their temporary workaround should only be used by those with a “beefy” PC.

Mods are fine to use for certain skins and jiggles. i haven't used any yet. but I like the game so I'm okay with spending 60-100 dollars on skins to support the devs. i got my eye on the goth skins and the 19 inch venom ngl

Yeah I just bought the Psylocke Vengeance skin and was looking at the Goth Skin on Nexus Mods lol
