Solo queue is a mess. (rant)

"You should never solo queue" yes yes I know but I am one of the few who has zero friends to play with and tries his hardest to enjoy online play. and while I am saying I dislike solo queuing, I don't mean quick play. I mean Competitive. I can't communicate with my teammates, my teammates fight with each other, and most of all I can't enjoy it because of my random picked teammates.

I don't expect anyone to relate really. I just wanted to rant about my struggles with the game. Good news is I made it to gold so I can get my Moon Knight skin.

Back to Quick Play I go...

There's nothing stopping you from asking people on this forum or the discord for this game to be friends and start playing with them you are aware of that?

Back to Quick Play I go...

You'll find more people will relate with you then you think, since most people probably solo queue then taking the time needed to make friends to play with. I see complaints on these forums daily about people hating the teammates they get. But unless your picking them yourself, there's no way the AI matchmaker is going to know what type of people you want on your team.

I am however I am unable to provide a mic due to my irl situation. And most if not all LFG groups I see want their team to be mic ready.

You shouldn't need an expensive mic to play, or hell. you can text chat if communication is needed. or is the situation your in something else, not expenses related?

There's also ways to mark things with your mouse which can provide a lot of information for your team as well. Calling for healing, clicking in the mouse wheel will mark enemies or locations to visit, ect.

reason I can’t use a mic is that I live in a RV with a family member. So my space isn’t very private. I would love to text chat as I am more of a typer anyway. Just have to find a text chat friendly group. Lol

Issue is there is no soloq.

Any game that takes their ranked seriously should separate soloq and teamq.

I have noticed that when I duo queue with my friend for ranked the enemy team always has a bunch of duo's that Meta ♥♥♥♥♥ team comps.

Makes it much harder as my Duo is a "I hate meta whoring" and so does apparently everyone else on my team.

So we get like Jeff, Storm, Wolverine etc, enemy has always like Hulk, Luna, Hawkeye, HEla.

Solo q everyone hilariously seems to take much more serious than teaming, I Think when you get a bunch of duo's they are cackling and giggling and playing like kids having a laugh which is fine but not in ranked.

Would be neat to have a whole separate game mode that is solo themed and solo competitive themed. Highly doubt it will happen but it’s a fun idea for people like me.

Solo is much easier, I lost Diamond back to Gold trying to Duo with my friend.

Went straight back up when Soloing, went down again trying to Duo with another Diamond player.

There is some heavy algorithm/Elo+ system to Teaming but yeah it is probably one of the only games I ever noticed Solo q is easier to rank up in unless you have a Metawhoring Duo.
