Are there bots in quickplay matches?

I just completed my fifth match and now the fifth one sided stomp I have participated in...

Does the game put you in with kiddie gloves first to get your confidence up? like I`m halfway decent shooter player and I have played my fair share of OW/TF2/Deadlock/Paladins so I know sort of what I`m supposed to be doing with each hero and I try not to act suicidal but I literally haven`t died once in the game yet while being MVP everytime.

Something feels fishy.

Yes there are bots your first few matches are against bots so you dont lose to a bunch of sweats and lose and proceed to uninstall. after 2 losses in a row it gives you a bot match to make you feel good about yourself or something.
