Why do people care about censorship in a video game?
At no point in the game is a prompt to engage in political talks, so why would the censorship matter? If you want to engage in this sort of discussion i am sure you can find the proper outlet.

Or better yet, go to China and protest there

Does it matter? Censoring free speech is always bad. Always!

Are you acting dense on purpose, or is this just.. how you are? Some people are social when playing games, they should be able to talk about winnie the pooh if that's what they're discussing while playing. The 'need to bring him up' is entirely irrelevant.

Honestly, nobody would bring that up if it wasn't censored. But when they're censoring words based to chinese blacklist in EUROPE and AMERICA servers, its what makes people jump.

Then they can do it over voice chat if they really want to bring up Winnie The Pooh. As far as i know they can't live censor voice chat

I think it's the idea that freedom is being oppressed due to something being illegal somewhere else. Any freedom loving person would have an issue with oppression.

But as I said, voice chat still exists.
And yeah, you make a good point. Its still a video game though, and like real life, you can ignore it and still enjoy the game. Or get worked up and quit the game.

It's not only political, there are times where I am talking with someone and a whole sentence just gets censored and I can never find out what the sensitive censorship doesn't like.

You know what? Thats fair, I tried to type the sentence "tickle my pickle" and it was censored. I thought it was quite funny, and figured it was more of a disney thing

Those who defend censorship here, have you guys ever heard about something called principles? I guess such values are rare these days..

Which principles? You can say anything you want in voice chat, only text chat is censored. As for the censoring itself, thats China for you. By all means, take your principles, go there, and fight for your freedom of speech

Actually, you can't. Voice chat is recorded for a reason...

Nearly all games have recorded voice chat. Its to help with reports. So yes, you can say whatever you want.
