Should I dedicate one full year to mastering Psylocke?

As title suggests, I am getting depressed. I am level 35, lord status with Psylocke, and yet I still underperform with her. So I decided to commit my new years resoltuino to only play Psylocke in 2025 in hopes I will be as good as the good players who play her at the end of the year.

Is this a good goal and do you feel I will get that skill level with her by next year?? Do you think Psylocke will still be as good as she is now in the meta a year from now? I need to know so I know whether this is a good goal or not. I wanna be a Psylocke specialist in a year from now.

I actually have the same goal, with her, i even bought skins and stuff before my first play with her, but the game is laggy as hell and kind of to fast based, meaning no real team play to me, or stratgy to the game just shoot shoot die die

i think its probably a terrible idea, We haven't gotten any big updates for the game in awhile, And so there's not really any point making a new years resolution committing to a hero in a video game that might/might not get nerfed into the ground, Especially since a big vocal majority in QP and low elo seem to complain about her

Probably best to make your new years resolution to simply "Get better at the game" instead of a specific hero

I cant even get my refund for the skin i bought cuz steam has issues communincating with marval rivals item server or whatever, they should of made the game early acesss if the game was not finished yet, its annoying as hell, AAA companies put out half ass games like this, why are the reviews so high and player playings is at high we should demand better to be treated better, or else im kind of going to like my new years resouluton to not play games

In hindsight, Buying a skin for a hero with real money whom you've never played regardless of video game is a terrible idea, Play them for awhile first, get a feel for them, Then if you like them buy a skin

Because now that you haven't received a refund you'll either A: Feel obligated to play her and under-perform or B: Never touch her and never getting value from the skin

I always think one tricking is a terrible idea because this is a rock, paper, scissors style game, so running just one character all the time won't always work. Instead, I would suggest getting good with at least 2 or 3 characters across all roles because that would make you a much more valuable player across the board and you will win more matches overall.

I mean that's the goal right?
You master 1 then when u know the in's and out's you move onto another.
It just takes a bit more time for others but i know you know this.

Every dude, girlfriend, and their sister is maining her, the world doesn't need another Psylocke main. You won't ever be " dat Psylocke dude. " Even if you somehow managed to reach top 10 with her. She's everyone bae at this point. Her gameplay is so smooth and intuitive that there's no reason not to learn her at this point.

agree 1000% devs are lazy, they made unoptimized also unbalanced characters, in this game only those who have the best specs for pc wins, that's all

Hero is not as hard as you think ...
I am only diamond ranked so far (10 hrs in comp) and stomp lobbies on her. Its mostly about positioning and getting combos right. No need to make rocket science out of it....

You feel Marvel Rivals is fast paced?!? That’s wild to me as games like Apex are way more fast paced! I feel like Marvel Rivals and games like Ocerwatch are much slower paced.

Sucks about your lag though, Marvel Rivals has played perfectly for me! They did very well with it!!
