So what's the deal with the bots

immediately when i got into my first qp game with my friends we noticed it was bots. why? I looked at other people talking about it and it's crazy how many bot games there are, is there really not enough players to fill the qp games? I can't think of another reason as to why they would have this many bots. I would like not to have to have the easiest games of my life while I wait for my lvl to be lvl 10 so i can play comp.

Eh I think it's fine. IMO it is much needed for a F2P games, to prevent actual new players from encountering smurfs early in their games. Plus the bots can get pretty challenging at times, like literal aimbotting so its not that bad. I played with someone when they are level 1 at it actually helps them be a bit confident to try out other roles as well.

I assume they throw cheaters or really, REALLY bad players into bot games, I have 3 (nearly 4) Lords, over 100 hours played, and not once seen a bot game, I am Diamond 3, but have played a lot of QP too

How do you think the game handles players joining/leaving/crashing mid-match?
Especially with servers being hyper regional.

The same people that would complain about the bots would complain about being 6v2 because the enemy Doctor Strange opened a portal and 2/3rds of your team crashed, because they don't realize the bots are the only thing that stop that from happening.

how do you recognize bots in your practice/compete matches?
i mean there is the blazing obvious "Practice vs. AI" option, which is actually kinda fun, but i don't think that's the topic here.

sure but its extremely obvious when they wont ever touch the point, have 2-2-2, and play like idiots. my friends and I arent 13 years old learning the game, I would love to actually play a game without rolling the enemy in 1 minute. Waiting until lvl 10 to go to comp has been a snoozefest.

friends and I are low lvls as we just started playing and it seems every qp game is just too easy, we can barley play the game cuz it ends too quickly from us rolling them. we aren't ass and we arent cheating but I have yet to have a challenging game.

I'd at the very least like to know when I have bots on my team or the enemy. Replacing players with bots bc the game is unoptimized isnt a solution

oh yeah I saw this. I am USA and Im not complete ass, nor have I gone on a losing streak. the people who say they arent getting bots either arent low lvl or just dont notice

Who knows, killed the game for me though. Extremely shady behaviour that also destroys any reason to play qp for people who don't play comp.

fine for ppl with less than 50 wins, a waste of time for everyone with more than that. i get more mad about a bot lobby than a complete stomp. its a waste of 5 minutes of my time on TOP of a loss streak

this game will get swiftly uninstalled if I see bots in ranked

supposedly fortnite has "no bot mode" now, but epic lost me for good by trying to be slick
