Marvel Rivals is closing steam on startup.

I launch Rivals from steam. Everything works fine until shaders are loaded. Then, marvel rivals stops responding and it closes. Steam also isn't open. I tried launching a few more times and hitting windows to check. It closes steam as soon as its launched. I can't get past the Unreal Engine credit. Help would be appreciated.

maybe your gpu is crashing causing other applications to close that rely on hardware acceleration? Does your screen go black for a few seconds? What gpu do you have?
