So, we have a "tank killer" who dies in every 1v1 battle with two tanks, three more tanks just show him the middle finger and calmly leave. And finally, three tanks that he kills, if of course he hits with his "jump". Did I miss anything? And this is HIM that many call "strong"?

recently got Centurion on Logan and you just have to play him like an assassin. sit behind cover, build rage when you can without much risk, the milisecond a tank pushes a little too far grab them into your team, usually garuntees a tank pick. if they are playing poke, you can still kill, but its a bit harder and you need full rage before going in.

do NOT take 1v1's. he is not for that. he is garbage when all the enemy worries about is you. he is an insane distraction and a kidnapper.

the only time you should ever consider 1v1'ing or hell, 1v4+ing, is when you have FULL rage and your ult. there is 0 reason to ever take those. full rage ult gives enough to kill almost anyone before they can really react.

dont play logan if there is only one tank. its too easy for 3 dps to adapt to a wolverine, or 3 supps to outheal long enough to get the tank back to safety. he thrives in 222

Venom should straight up not be killing you. if you are dying to venom consistently you are going at him with low hp, no passive, and low rage. Venom can escape your kidnap pretty easy, but if you are dying to him a lot you are doing something inherently wrong.

Thor is a 50/50. if he uses his rune awakening (throwing lightning) that is your time to grab him, as it uses all his ability charges. if he has all 3 he can probably just charge back into position before the kill goes off.

most other tanks are a joke. steal penni out of her bot field. kidnap strange and slash through his shield when you can. Magneto is pretty survivable but he has to use everything he has to live if you pull him into your team. groot is CANDY to wolverine. if you see a groot as wolverine you should be jumping for joy like you just won the NBA grand finals. Hulk is bad in general but can usually live your kidnap (albeit barely) with shield + leap. cap is cap, he's bad but mobile, usually kinda hard to grab him with all his leaping, but killable if you grab him and straife around his shield


last tip i will give is shout BEFORE going in. its a flat 50% damage reduction. shouting at 300 gives you 450 effective hp. shouting at 50 gives you 75 effective hp. HUGE difference.

Bro, I got a diamond on wolverine, a tank killer who can't 1v1 a tank is a joke. Venom kills wolverine because of his second hp bar. How do you imagine a fight with Thor? You stand there and fight him until he uses runes? Congrats, his whole team is focusing you. Do you steal him away from his team? Congrats, he uses runes, you're dead.
His ult and jump work half the time. Damage to everyone except tanks is just ridiculous. He has a giant hitbox with almost no mobility. Let me remind you that all melee DDs have monstrous mobility and small hitboxes, everyone except Wolverine.
He's just really, really bad.
The fact that he's great at killing 2-3 characters in the game doesn't make him good, there are 30 other characters in the game that he's terrible against.

yes. and in high elo lobbies people recognize that they are the rank 1 wolverine and ban his hero consistently enough to pick up another character.

what do you want me to say lol. its like complaining about black widow not being the best at long range damage like hawkeye or Hela. thats just what the meta is right now.

Wolverine isnt the Best dps, but that doesnt mean he is bad. Wolverine still is undefeated in sheer damage output against tanks, and combined with his kidnapping makes him an easy A to B tier character.

aim below the enemy when doing the leap attack, found out the reticle takes part of his leap.

Sure, he's tank killer, but no-one should hit tank exclusively, unless tank is only one you can safely hit. I'd imagine that you'll get more results by diving enemy supports and bullying them until enemy backs out to help, instead of tunnelling into tank only.
