Who's the hardest character?

I tried spiderman cuz I heard he's the hardest, but he's actually rather braindead, am I missing something?

Hardest depends on the rank you are playing at as well. Spiderman at higher ranks is hard.

Spider-man by far. No contest. Too much animation cancel and combo available. Many movement tech etc...Not braindead at all.

Spider-man, Panther, Winter soldier. Those are the most skill dependant.

You have to consider that a large percentage of gamers are young, and competitive games in recent years are all completely dumbed down so it's all they know. In other words, they don't know what a balanced character is supposed to look like. Their point of reference is other dumbed down games. Also, a lot of game developers ARE these same kids who grew up with dumbed down games, which is why they "balance" the games the way that they do, they think it's actual balance.

This is what happens when you dumb things down, it's inevitable that quality will suffer in the long run. If a lot of these younger people went back and played older games, they'd soon realize how laughable it is to call Spiderman in this game, or many other abilities/characters in other games, "hard" or "balanced".

Iron Fist has aim assist and can keep up with Iron Man who is going full speed by just holding down 1 button.
He is even more brain-dead than Black Panther.
