is not the ram, is the bad optimization and the stupid 4k textures that no one will pay attention on a game like this, environmental destruction cause massive framedrops even on high en pc
also is running on UE5 which is a bad engine to pull performance or optimize
if you watch the top streamers many of the use the super low config/mods to get as much framerate as possible even if they have top of the line pc
7800x3d / 4070 / 16gb DDR5
i'm also using custom low config and the game still manage to drop fps
You also cannot pay your way out of poor optimization. People that can afford and have access to the highest end PCs are using mods to optimize performance. I don't really know why people get super weird about this. Better optimization is a good thing for everyone.
The game is great, the performance is not and it's especially ridiculous given this game is stylized rather than realistic. There's no reason it should be such a memory hog. The Finals also uses UE5 and is much better optimized, even when it first released, and that game aimed for a realistic style with much more environmental destruction than is present in this game.
