Game in Chinese, How to Change it to English?

Hello everyone,

I just got the game, but once i finished installing it, the game started to display language and graphics in Chinese. I tried different methods via Reddit like changing Language in Settings in Steam or the Culture change in the Internationalization over the GameUserSetting file, but no luck.

For further context, i am currently residing in China but my region is from USA, so all my other games are in English. Really getting desperate. Any help would be really appreciated.

If it does not work via Steam language, start the game and in the launcher, top right corner should be the setting (Gear Symbol).

The first column is the language (dropdown menue)

There you should be able to change it to english.

Thanks for the info. I tried that but to no avail. It says English but as soon as i launch the game it still is in Chinese.

It appears the game has region content you cant bypass or change. I live in Japan and am getting what I assume is the NetEase TOS agreee window and its in Japanese. There is nothing I can do to change it to a more common (readable by me) language like English. The game Just assumes it knows better and doesn't give any way to change it. I guess I can just VPN to region trick it. Unfortunately for you it can be risky to do in China as it can get you into trouble if caught access some content they deem inappropriate, even if by accident.

the game is censored in china so its essentially a different game, so it makes sense
