Most of them will kill pretty much anything that's not a vanguard in 3 attacks or less while hulk has to sit there punching, and punching, and punching dozens of times to kill anyone.


That's not what I'd imagine playing The Hulk should feel like.

Bait post, not even his ult can instantly kill a player. Including the ground slam which guarantees the other player has some health after the pummeling.

Hulk defenitely isn't unkillable. Good Hulk player make it seems like it is, but in reality Hulk is one of worst if not the worst solo tank in the game.

Hulk is best at being your team main tank and backline support role as 2nd vanguard in team setup. Also hulk requires a lot of attention from healers, maybe more than any other vanguard, but when you help your backline constantly to eliminate threats they have, you usually get that heal you require.

Hulks main strategy is to create distraction on frontline and peel for the backline simultaneously, because he has that huge leap, he can fast postition himself to help backline if need and back to frontline when needed. When you create enough distraction on front line and help backline, your team is doing fine and that's what hulk does best. His gamma shield is really valuable to help your backline and frontline to survive while you dive on the front or peel for the backline.

Mastering timing all your abilities and knowing when to dive and when to retriet requires a lot of skill and how you utilize your all abilities. He is certainly not OP, but good Hulk player makes more like your team mates more OP and enable to them make better effort. He is team player hero at best, but if you try play it like solo diver or some rambo stuff and not care to help other team mates, you will fail hard and that is how most players fail at being a Hulk.

In competitive gameing, main reason he gets banned is that his team-up with Strange and Iron man gives them quite big dmg boost. Especially Iron man dmg becomes huge. And the combination of having these 3 in same team is nice setup also.

Considering Hulk is a "Disruptor" in most cases he wont have a healer backing him up in these cases and will die fast or have to retreat

Ofcourse Starlord kills him in 1v1 situation most of the time, he is Duelist after all. Good Hulk player avoid that situation. Instead good Hulk player check he have team behind him and bubbles himself and allies for the survive when enemy dives or when team mates dives. He use gamma stun to whoever needs to get killed. When Hulk enables his team mates, the team mates enables Hulk by that.
