Should dps be allowed to speak?

I know this might sound a bit crazy bit hear me out. Any player with brains knows something about team comp, and also probably been in unfortunate teams where 3-4 people wanna pick dps despite your polite suggestions while you have to solo heal or solo tank.

Then more often than not you going to be losing as you said and they maybe swap to another role but too late.

In any case, sweet and short of it, I really do not think that a dps picker that does not know how to use any other role or refuses to play any other role should have a right to use chat or voice chat. Just get some response wheel of very polite responses, like "yes sir" and such.

Cause frankly, I am not in a mood to hear squealing of some brainless pig when you point out obvious things team needs to do... and this happens a lot. You don't even need to be mean, you could literally say something in indifferent voice and you get a full on mental break down from someone screaming at you, thinking that you (solo tank/healer) is the problem while they are the MC of life and then proceed trying to prove to enemy team that you been on epstein list or something while they are literally been carrying (false on both accounts).

So I know it wont happen of course but it be real nice if these human toilets actually learned their place but they wont cause probably missing a parent or two so no one taught them how.

I've played roughly 900 matches and the majority of my wins were 2 healers, 3 dps, 1 tank.

Thanks for the free Steam points though. Maybe I'll finally buy that Grape Keyboard for BPM

if the other team is running 2 tanks, it actually is optimal though.
You need more DPS to melt the tanks faster.

Jokes aside, I would agree with that if I did not get absolute trash for dps players, in which case they are just pointless, and no, it's not the issue of me not protecting them, I know how to tank alright. I am actually often taking on entire team as tank while my dps playing afk arena.

I just watched a Spider-Man go 2/9/0 and only do 890 damage across 2 rounds.
I thought for sure he threw the match and just swung around the whole time, or even late joined, but I watched the replay and they were just awful and playing him all wrong (they were playing him the way I play Wolverine, by trying to help push rather than diving the backline) and get getting wrecked by the enemy Widow.

I'm going to disagree with this slightly. Unless you are playing wolverine, who melts tanks, your best bet is to angle so as to target their backline support. Vanguard without support die fastest, no matter how many you have. However, even with only a single Vanguard, if played well, with 2 supports, they can be quite hard to dispatch.

The power of a team is inversely proportional to the number of DPS.

0 DPS is the strongest team possible, no matter if it's 5 healers or 5 tanks.

The only possible exceptions are if you have one professional player winning thousands of dollars in tournaments smurfing in your team, anyone else is just dragging the team down by picking DPS.

Also, intalock DPS are subhuman.

Oh, also, quick reminder most healers are close to DPS in terms of DPS, some surpass some of them.

Most tanks can surpass and deal more burst damage than most DPS in the game, the only thing they lack is often range.

I kinda agree. What usually happens is 2 of the DPS dive backline for the healers and snipers and 1 helps on point. Then once the healers are dead the other DPS come help finish the tanks.
This is pretty much typically how it plays out, though I've also been the only DPS diving backline while the other 2 help on point. Both are viable strats for the same comp.
