1 get good positioning 2 get 100% accuracy3 win every match 4 dominate every match so you get most rank points possible

Luck and some decent skill.

The matchmaking routinely puts people against teams that are far worse or far better than they are. There are plenty trash grandmaster players for a reason, if luck is on your side you go against a lot of crappy teams that make it easy to climb.

Even people like dafran who are top 100 players ever in OW take a week+ to grind GM2+

The matchmaking in this game isn't good enough for 1 day runs

You don't. Even if you were that skilled, the way matchmaking works, you're forced to practically get as close 50% winrate as possible, which means you'd need close to 2000 games with that winrate.

2000 at 50% winrate is 1000 matches won. I don't know how much points you need for GM level, but imagine him getting 25 per win, and losing 10? 1000 x 25 = 25000. Losing 1000 times? 1000 x 10 = 10000. Is 15000 enough to reach GM or not?

Main point is that its timewise impossible to play that many games in 1 day.

hitting gm in a day even for gm smurfs is quite the task. its possible but not for a new player any time soon. and you still need luck. if youre a basically full smurf stack (5 ppl bc 6 cant queue inr anked) then its probably possible. as a new player? forget it, its a grind.
