Gold Comp Experience Is Awful - Constant Teammate Blaming

I will forever be stuck in Gold because it's just a never ending cycle of people blaming each other and refusing to cooperate. Everyone is at fault all the time, except for the person blaming others of course, so nobody changes anything and almost every match is a loss from the moment we leave spawn.

I try my best to swap around to what I think will work, sweat my brains out, use pings, try and coordinate things, ask if I should swap or there's something I should try, try different tactics, etc, and still I will be blamed if I'm not standing out and doing amazing at any given moment. We're losing BAD and I swap to Mantis and we keep losing BAD? Well then it's my fault and I get blamed.
We're losing BAD and our Punisher swaps to Luna and we continue to lose bad? Well it's Punisher's fault then.

I just had 3 matches in a row in Gold 2 where people kept blaming each other. In two of them other people were blamed, in one I was blamed. All were HARD stomp losses.
We could have won the first one but the guy was so focused on blaming others and being mad at the team he decided to start hard throwing haflway through and repeatedly run into the enemy team 1v6. Inting like mad, and continued to blame the team.

Second one I was blamed. Team demanded two tanks, and there were already 2 supports and two damage so I was forced to go tank and picked Strange. I tried to protect my team, tried to get kills, do the things Strange does and I couldn't do anything because my team wasn't staying behind my shield and pushing with me and kept taking weird angles away from me and running off. We never even touched the point. I tried very hard but we just couldn't do anything.

Next round I swapped to Punisher, and then my team started yelling about "HEALER", "NEED HEALER", "NO, NEED 2 HEALER NOW", so I ran to swap back to swap to support because they were yelling at me, but when I got there I realized someone else swapped to support instead, so I just stayed as the Luna Snow swap hoping that her ult would help us push and the freeze would help with the enemy Hulk who kept jumping on us and smacking us around.

I was repeatedly insulted throughout the match and told I was an ***, not sure exactly what it was but I can guess, and told they hope I stub my toe "very hard".
I asked what I did and was just told I'm an *** again.

At the end of the match I was blamed solely, I asked once again what I did wrong and was just told "watch the vod and you'll know", "rewatch the match", "you'll know why we were complaining about healers". Which made no sense, I don't remember them ever complaining about heals except to demand two supports.

I was just picked to be blamed for why we were losing and then lost for some reason, and they were SO focused on being mad at me and blaming me when I did nothing wrong, that they soft threw.

I keep getting close to getting out of Gold but then get a bunch of people like this and shoot FAR back down. I was one match away from getting out of Gold at one point and then shot all the way back down to the bottom of Gold 2 with a bunch of matches with people like this.

The hell is wrong with Gold players?

team games that have mic'd up friends vs randoms with no mics is the issue.

If there was solo que for comp maybe it would be more organic

Another match. Enemy team was perfectly coordinating, amazing team comp, Loki and Luna took turns using the same ult. They were all clearly in a group chat and talking, making calls and coordinating.

My team coordinated literally none. Nobody wanted to play tank, so I was forced to the first round, but we didn't have a second tank so basically GG right off the bat. They refused to back me up with a second one so I was just a lone Magneto trying to protect the whole team and push the cart and I couldn't do it. Magik kept running down the middle of the lane to 1v6 the enemy team and died 6 times in a row doing this.

We didn't even push it 10 meters.
Next round I swapped off tank, not solo tanking like that, and went Hawkeye. Did pretty well except... yeah. Nobody wanted to play tank. Eventually someone swapped to Strange and we started doing better but we were still no match for the perfect coordination of the enemy team.

I never get people who coordinate on my team, ever.

turn off team chat and start avoiding teammates and your mental will thank you. Had plenty of games where I'm getting blamed for us losing but they're going negative and have more deaths than the whole team. Sometimes it's better not to give them attention and just report them and requeue. Someone blamed me for us losing and then next game I went 63-13 and won so clearly I wasn't the problem lol

Gold is basically the beginning still. I wouldn't expect anything until after Diamond and even then, there's always a huge group that got carried there.

solution: dont play ranked
you already have hidden MMR, your rank is unimportant.
And since youre gold you clearly are not a 1%er who needs to play ranked to play with people on your level

Dude, I was one win away from gold, decided I was going to cash in my wins for the night, but instead I played one more round. My "team" picked FIVE DPS and me as support. The other team saw our line up and went three tanks. We got ROLLED and I never saw a line up like this even in bronze. And of course they blamed healing even when they took 200 damage in three seconds of focused fire

because of developers mistake, we don't have placement matches and therefor we all start in bronze 3. At the moment, 80% (majority) of players are stuck in silver + bronze, meanwhile majority of players should be in gold + plat.

Best suggestion is - wait until most players appear at central leagues (gold + plat) or until developers changes something.

Meanwhile, do not play ranked, it's broken.

If you are a decent player, your best bet is to find a group to play with that also has decent players. Solo in all of these games is trash. If you are decent, you will usually be the best or one of the best players in every match.

I'm in Gold and my teammates lost 7 matches in a row where I was top healer. I'm not even sure what I can do in that circumstance except just try to keep them alive from the background while they bash their face into a wall. The sad life of a support main.

For two of the matches, the worst DPS player left in the middle for what I can only assume was deep shame. Still doesn't give me back my MMR though.

Being top healer means that your allies are taking more damage. Not good.
