HOW TO GET OUT OF BRONZE and get better(Actually Though) like not joking this is a real guide with real advice

If you are stuck in bronze remember its not your teammates its you YOU bronze is a rank that you can carry every game and get out of easily if your good and this guide will hopefully tell you how to get good. Because if the people on your team seem like they are playing with their eyes closed remember the other team is likely the same so a single good player on your team making good plays with make a huge difference what you need to do is become one of those good players so you can carry yourself out of bronze.

TIP 1. go into the practice range and play every hero learn all of their abilities and cooldowns for those abilites, you can take this a step further and play a quick match of all the heros to learn how they play. knowing what every hero does will help you when you go against them

TIP 2. Watch some guides for the heroes you main i promise that you will learn things you never knew you could do on those heroes. Also watch some basic guides that teach things like gamesense and positioning (i would recommend a youtuber called Coach Mills for this). if you can play smart you can win because positioning is the difference between dying and surviving and dying causes you to lose team fights and that causes you to lose games.

TIP 3. Be aware of your team look at what your tank is doing. Where your supports are, are you in their line of sight or are you not? They cant heal you if they cant see you. look at the enemy team too is their someone out of position out of line of sight of their healers? learn what matchups your hero can win. for example, if your on ironman and there is a Hela on the enemy team dont fly high in to the sky where you can be easily picked off, instead play lower and use cover. also learn space and cover ( I learned this from a overwatch youtube called A10 which even though its overwatch what they teach is still applicable here). Aim will come with practice but gamesense and knowledge are things you can learn now.

TIP 4. Find a player in top 500 that plays your hero and spectate them see how they play see what they do differently see how they win games. spectate both their wins and losses if you watch their losses you can see the mistakes that even they make and one you are most likely making yourself. Also be sure to look what what parts of the environment they destroy on the maps to get useful angles.

TIP 5. Practice. just play the game doesn't matter if its quick match or conquest the more you play, the more you climb.

TIP 6. Learn the maps learn the locations of healthpacks so you can heal if your in a bad spot learn the positions and take advantage of the destructible environments.

TIP 7.Never ragequit or throw this one is obvious you make it where even if you had a 1% chance of winning that chance immediately goes to 0

TIP 8. Learn at least one hero from each category, this ensures that you will be able to form a somewhat cohesive team comp.

TIP 9. Always watch kill cams you can see why you died what mistakes did you make how could you have lived what mistakes did they make that you could have exploited. plus you can see their ult charge.

TIP 10. if you play support learn how to counter the various dive characters and flankers.

100% agree ... I'm in B2 and going up and down, but not moving ahead. I realize the problem is me. I like the game and am having fun, so I'm working on getting better. But I know 100% if I was as good at this game as I am at other PvP games, I would easily be able to carry these matches myself. It a matter of map awareness and mechanics of the abilities at this point.

rank means nothing in this game.

the only way to get ranks is by having a pro team of premades and go farm solo players.

theres no role queue so premade teams will always have a balanced / meta comp while the solo players just got random bullcrap and will lose every game, theres not even skill in volved in this.

+ the way matchmaking works if u rn't full premade is it will "force" u into having 50% winrate. wich means the moment u get abouve 50% winrate u will get matched with the greatest idiots alive just to make u fall back to that 50%


the only way they can actually make rank have some meaning is if they add a role select queue so solo player teams will have a solid comp against premades and have a chance to win OR leave it as it is and remove premade matchmaking from ranked so everyone has to play solo.

I feel kinda bad for people stuck in bronze, i was stuck in low elo overwatch for ages but i just kinda glided into gold solo queueing with one loss the whole time on Magneto. i know how that ♥♥♥♥ goes.

my main tip is dont play strategist unless you have to. too reliant on team not being complete morons
