Marvel Rivals does have terrible optimization. The memory leaking issue is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
However, you need to play multiplayer games on an SSD in 2024. It's just silly to expect otherwise. For single player games, yeah sure an HDD can work if you don't mind the extra loading time, but yeah you should have switched to SSD for multiplayer at least a few years ago. It's been the standard for a while and it's even listed on their minimum spec requirements.

Nah. Game's just poorly optimized. Having the exact same problems with an SSD.
