These misconceptions are false. I've been using Linux for 30 years. It makes your hardware last longer, performs fast because you don't need virus software working in the background, is great for office productivity and coding, and is also great for gaming. I have a huge library I can play in Linux. I just completed the Mass Effect Legendary edition, and I'll be starting the Bio shock remastered series soon. I play TF2 frequently. Lots of current and past titles work great on Linux. So the lie that it's not for gamers isn't going to work here. Just this game isn't working, so don't try and make excuses.
More and more people use Linux every day. More MS zombies are waking up to the light every day. Windows even runs on the Linux Subsystem for Windows now for anything important. (bet you didn't know that 0.0 ) People who just want apps from an app store are using android (linux based) and actual PC users will either be using Linux or Mac (which is based on BSD 0.0 ) .
How old was the clip? It worked for me too until two weeks ago.
I get it man, you're sooo different because you use linux
No, you don't get it at all.
Don't try to "other" me just because I use a different OS than you. You sound so ignorant.
I'm a typical guy who just made a different OS choice, and the Linux user base is growing unlike Windows. People use windows because they don't really have computer skills and just want apps to work easily, but all those people are moving to Android.
The number of people buying windows PCs is shrinking dramatically as most people don't even buy desktops or personal PCs anymore, opting for nicer cell phones. The people left using PCs are people who need PCs for productivity and they chose Linux or Mac. Windows will be dead soon.
People wear different shoe brands too. Does that make them "different"? You sound like a broken record repeating "we get it, you're different" over and over again.
We get it, you have something against Linux! Too bad for you.
When in reality no one cares.
