If you're a beginner, the first impression might be negative about him. I thought so too but actually he's pretty good. His shield (wall, not the bubble) is blocking ALL projectiles, even ults. Use that to block incoming Iron Man Ults, block enemy Star Lords, etc.
The bubble shield makes the character immune while it last, even against Jeffs Ult for example. So it is not just bonus health. If it does block damage, it will load of your rings (Your passive/right click) I wouldn't use right click if it is not fully charged, because charged it will knock them back and stun them very briefly.
Even tho his ult looks like a big offensive ult, it is more defensive imo. While charging up the ult, he's absorbing all incoming projectiles to charge it up even more and increase the damage. I often use it to block heavy incoming fire like a Punisher Ult.
But keep in mind, if you absorging too much, your Ult will just break and you can't throw it anymore.
His auto attacks are fairly strong, if they hit directly. The Teamup with Scarlet Witch is also nice too. Once activated, you're getting better auto attacks for a short duration with high damage and way more range and, but I'm not sure on that, they pierce some enemies.
Hope this helps a bit.
