How to mod marvel rivals for morons
1Right-click on the game to bring up the context menu.

2 Select "Manage" and then click on "Local Files." This is where you’ll find the relevant directories.

3 Open the "MarvelGame" folder, then navigate to the "Marvel" folder, and finally into the "Content" folder. Inside, you should see a "Pak" folder—exactly where it’s supposed to be.

4 Within the "Pak" folder, create a new folder named ~mods (without the quotation marks—just as stated).

5Place your mods into this folder. If everything has been done correctly, they will appear in the game automatically.

“How To Get Banned”
Currently, modding Marvel Rivals appears to operate under a "use at your own risk" framework. At present, there are no active measures reported that ban users for engaging in modding. However, it is crucial to note that this could change in the future. As developers refine their policies and introduce enforcement mechanisms, the possibility of modding being explicitly prohibited remains significant.

Id be shocked if there wasnt something in the ToS already essentially saying mods are not allowed and you could be banned.

People are playing this that have never played competitive games before and are assuming it wont matter. It will. When theyre already having Esports tournaments with big cash payouts. It wont take long for them to start cracking down on cheats and modding.

Mods can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, which is a reliable and well-known platform for game modifications.

However, please note:

You’ll need to create an account to access certain mods.
For NSFW mods, an account is mandatory. So, if those are what you're after, a little extra effort is required.
Oh I guarantee they're not allowed. You guys are going to end up super banned. The devs aren't even cool with editing ini files.

Im surprised to see a game like this with mods being allowed. Most of the time these devs have a titty attack and ban you

Well... I would not suggest paying for stuff while you are using them because you will lose them along with entire account. Maybe "later" than "sooner" but dont come back asking "WHY? IT WAS ONLY X/Y" :eselphine:

I suggest everyone gets the "tall Jeff" mod which makes it a lot easier to hit Jeff especially when he's underground. It shows his whole hitbox

The one that makes psyloche visible when she's invisibile is also great

lol this guy hates on the game while literally advising cheating for an easy kill / enemy to deal with.
bro is beefing on a steam disscussion
“How To Get Banned”
I Would advise against using mods in a game that's clearly meant to be played competitively given the matchmaking quality in quick play. Especially those that give you an advantage. Im gonna say this season S0 is about collecting all sorts of data and once S1 launches people will see that data being used.

Data for the anti cheat, hero data, map data, everything. Thats probably why the updates haven't had even minor balance tweaks. Once S1 starts I feel like theyll be cracking down a lot more on cheating and modding, stuff like that.

How about only blocking mods in comp, problem solved.
...
Okay yes it's a compromise but if it means that casuals can use mods, and we avoid some cheaters in serious maches i'd say it's the right thing to do.

Yeah but you also gotta think. The games revenue comes from skins. If they allow modding thats going to take money out of their pockets. Cause whats to stop someone from lifting the skin model from the game and repacking it into a mod. Or just modeling it yourself and offering it in a mod.

Its a risk honestly. I could be wrong. But, I see this game developing an large competitive scene if the developers play their cards right. All the ingredients are there. So They may become very protective and strict about modding. Esports has a lot of money behind it. They dont want to go the OWL route and have it turn into a several billion dollar mistake. By allowing anything to make the game look bad or hint at the possibility of people being allowed to cheat.
i just want cute skins will i get banned :steamsad:
The moment I can no longer play as Loona Sue is the moment I uninstall the trash game.
