mods on client site are just there for the community. But if its became hacks such as resizing existing models and all of that which works outside your own character - then it could be a reason for a bans. Not to mention real cheating such as replacing the sounds of walk and other stuff.
However I dont think they are gonna ban people for pochita-jeff or something like that.
There is no way this game will be competitive. It's slop for enjoyment. The performance and radical imbalance is way too much for it to go competitive.
it would be nice if the game won't just straight ban you and instead let you know your game files have been changed and you need to reinstall
That's not the main reason.
The main reason is this is a F2P game and the developers make money selling you skins. If you mod your own skins into the game you are literally cutting off their livelihood. You will get ban hammered.
The game is still new, these numbers will only rise.
Not after the bans start.
Banned only on MR forum. Not for game.
so the only question is if the suits in charge are stupid in that way or not, but good chance they won't touch cosmetic mods
(and the people likening it to cheating are children)
