Serious issue with Iron Fist
The devs need to seriously do something about Iron Fist. That hero is entirely too oppressive in the fact he can instant glue to someone from half way across the map and, for any hero that isn't a vanguard type, you basically have to accept that you lose.

Combine this with his insane mobility and you basically have a hero that can self-heal from critical all the way to full if left alone for two seconds and can essentially freely nuke any non-vanguard hero he sets his sights on.

They need to either reduce the range that he can Goku instant transmission on top of someone by about 50% or lower his damage. When the only thing you have to worry about is the enemy team being able to focus fire you (which everyone has to worry about), there's something very wrong.

Now I'll admit this may be just a quick play or low rank competitive issue and I don't want the hero to be useless by no means. I just really, really feel like there needs to be some kind of skill requirement for the amount of damage he deals with that free low cd self heal.

He's a solo killer but it's not impossible to win against him.

If you're not alone and with someone who isn't incompetent, he's easily killed.

I know it's not impossible and I'll gladly take advice on how to better deal with him. However, I still feel like he can stick to an enemy too easily.

A specific example I'll give: Bast statue convoy mission. I was playing Iron Man. An Iron Fist jumps me in the middle of the air so I use Iron Man's movement boost to try to disengage and reset things. Despite the massive movement speed advantage I have and the distance I'm putting, the Iron Fist is still able to teleport on top of me and secure a kill despite me moving three times faster than Iron Fist can move period.

That is a major issue in my book. I know there's heroes like Scarlet Witch that can basically fly up and slow fall to make up for their short range and that's fine.

No matter who you are playing against Iron Fist, play much closer to your healers then you normally would. When Iron Fist jumps on you, your healers will simply keep you alive easily (if they are competent) through his dps. Then everyone should turn on him and squish him.

Skill issue and team skill issue, the true threats are a good black panther which is a lesser of the dive threats with a good spiderman being one of the bigger threats because of his easy in and out mobility and 300 damage combo with venom guaranteeing supports die when performed correctly. Even a failed spiderman combo leaves him in positions where it's hard for teammates to land enough hits to eliminate him. Magik can be an issue with her survivability mechanics but her portals are pretty linear for CC.

I know I have things to work on personal skill wise so playing closer to my healers in the future when I know there's an Iron Fist out is some advice I will work on following. Black Panther though, I've been on the fence on learning him, might be worth a check.

StoneFrog24 27 DIC 2024 a las 8:25 p. m.
I always stunt him with Mantis when he try to initiate when I'm playing her so he get kill easily if he gets hard CC just so you know. Just hard focus him or CC and he's done but normaly ppl on your team doesnt care about the back line but they spamm ( need healing )
Emygdius 27 DIC 2024 a las 8:31 p. m.
I used to hate Fist, now unless he is a god like player its basically free kills. As has been stated before in this thread, stick to your healers, use your CC. Mantis can solo him in particular, Penny has a grab that stops him. Basically any anti dive tech (there is a LOT in game) destroys Fist. Any hard CC does as well. Also, don't just stick to one hero. EVERYONE seems like they only want to play one hero, in a TEAM game and are afraid to change when countered, or to counter an enemy. If you see fist, and he is competent, play Penny. When he dives, if you have set up right he will insta die. (Mines plus turret, plus your hard CC. This also works on heroes like Jeff when he ults, and is hilarious everytime he ults and insta dies) Always be willing to change your hero based on how well/what the opposing team is playing.

(I only suggest Penny as I play vanguard a lot, but there are multitude of heroes with anti dive built into their kits.)

the only nerf i would say he needs is to just remove that magnet-dash that he has whenever he punches people, i dont see why he should have it when BP/wolverine doesnt

a melee-only character should never be allowed to have the capability to chase an iron-man or storm who is basically perpetually in the air
