Are the skins over priced?
Does anyone else think that skin prices are ridiculously over priced?

I mean take the guardians of the galaxy bundle, they want damn near $50.00 just for 4 skins. I mean maybe if you're like Donald trump or Bill gates rich you'll think this is a good deal i guess. Idk. What do you guys think?

Overpriced for the average consumer to buy? Yes.
They are not aiming for the average consumer, they are aiming for "whales" who buy out the whole store, if they were charging like $1 per skin, the whales would give them like $30.
As it is the whales give them hundreds.
It's not worth trying make a few cents profit per skin when they can make hundreds at a time.

This is a known sales tactic for skin which nearly every major online game uses (outside of Gatcha), there are mutiple Ted Talks you can watch that discuss the pointlessness of making skins a reasonable price.

Personally I will stick to the Battlepass, skins work out at 50 cents each, plus a bunch of sprays and borders etc (including the coins you get from the pass in my math).
That is a fair deal.
This seems like a pretty ethical compromise between milking whales and providing cheap skins to the masses (even if its not for the heroes you like).

But don't you understand? That's a DEAL!:MGS3_Bikkuri:
Normally a skin is $13-$18, so by buying 4 for $50 you save anywhere from $2-$20!!

in all seriousness, the fact that they are overpriced ultimately won't stop me from buying at least 1 for all my fav characters, assuming they have a skin I like that is. (Still waiting on a Peni one I like) A part of me will hate myself each time I do it, but it won't stop me. And I already know when DP comes out i will likely buy all of his skins because I'm a sucker

Why would you even buy skins in this game? LOL

One skin in fortnite costs 15 dollars on average but they usually come in bundles with other items.

I think they are rather high,

How I will justify a skin purchase is if I crack 500 hours and if there is a skin I really would love,
If I go by what I liked in the MCU and the comics, there is only a handful that I will get if at all.

They are quite high, but I don't really mind because you can buy some of them for free just buy playing and the battlepass is only 5$. I want this game to live so if kinda expensive skins is all what they need to continue supporting this game they can count me in. Also is not even near as insane as league of legends prices

I personally can not for the life of me understand paying for something that doesnt change gameplay at all.

Who cares the current and all future heroes are free to play. Be thankful of that.

To support the developers and because we can?

If I like a game, I'll throw some money the devs way to support them
I definitely do think they're overpriced; people aren't complaining yet since the discounts are there. But when the discounts are gone? People ain't gonne be happy lol

Here's the thing: it's a F2P game. Monetization in these kind of games is always high. That being said, it is still alright overall. I hope the BPass won't increase in price.
Yes they’re, but also the in-game currency it’s not priced locally, so if you’re no in a USD country, they can be even more expensive.

Skins are undercooked... not overpriced. Quality of Legendary is a joke.

Lets look at newest one~ Moonknight is actually a Legendary skin. His Ultimate is not summoning dragons and his Ankh looks like Ankh. Not to mention that his voice didnt change... wasnt even filtered.
