I have 32gb, and a few hundred chrome tabs, Krita which takes 16gb alone, Unity, and god knows what else open at all times, and its the same performance as if everything was closed.
I don't know what's the issue. My GPU never being fully utilized is making me think the game is CPU intensive, but then come people with worse CPUs than my AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, and a worse GPU than my GTX 1080Ti, saying they have double my framerate, so I just go back to it being poor optimization.
One thing is certain, like everyone else starting topics like this, I also run most games on ultra settings with no issue, so they need a big pass on optimization. If I have an issue with a game, one thing they all share regardless of graphical fidelity, is that they're all UE5 games.
PS, you can freely leave models and textures on highest, its unlikely to affect performance. Textures are VRAM intensive, and models are pretty standard.
on a 3060ti is absolutely stupid. I run everything on high settings with a 3060ti and a poor mobo, yet only Marvel Rivals AND EARLY ACCESS GAMES lag like this
"Fullscreen"
Limited frames to 120
Resolution 1920X1080p
Everything at Medium except
Global illumination SSGI Low
Screen Space reflections
I know my PC should be able to do better than this however it's reduced my crashing from every 3-4 games to it might crash once in a few days.
Unreal engine don't care how powerful ur graphics card is.
Every unreal game has this issue and it won't be fixed until the next engine.
Unreal engine 5 is literally in beta… What are you yapping about won’t be fixed until next engine? This IS the next engine, and they aren’t going to change the engine Marvel runs on, cause they made the game based around the beta unreal engine 5. The game will improve in performance overtime as UE5 gets updates and the game itself gets updates.
Runs much better now. Minimum requirements should be 32 GB for this game not 16.
RAM may not be an issue for you but it is for many of the 16 GB systems running at higher than 1080 resolution, it a thousand percent was for my wife's computer.
