Open the .ini file there and put this at the bottom.
[/script/windowstargetplatform.windowstargetsettings]
DefaultGraphicsRHI=DefaultGraphicsRHI_DX12
Save it. Set the file to read only. Enjoy.
what does it do exactly ?
Forces the game to use DirectX12
Nothing. It made no change to performance for me.
it fixed my problem somehow
What doubled my fps was lowering my rez to 1080p and turning on TAAU anti-aliasing/res type and setting render scale to as low as possible (50).
I was aiming to get thick borders like you can get in Overwatch, this is the thickest I could get them and the game still looks good graphically (somehow, would look like trash this low in Overwatch)
