No disable crossplay option?

Imagine doing the most damage, healing AND kills/assist in the team AS A HEALER CHARACTER... Obviously Losing the match... Only to learn your "epic" teammates are all console peasants who can't hit any of their shots.

And then learning this game does not have an option to disable crossplay.

Here's a question: Why? Why it is not an option, with 2025 around the corner? Why devs still think this is acceptable?

From what I read, there is no crossplay in ranked... But imagine playing ranked JUST to have no crossplay. When it's just can be a toggle in the options menu.

Crossplay is the worst. Console players are just painful and should not be allowed in the same lobbies.

You can always make friends out of the people in the PC community and just party up with them to get around this.

Crossplay though will most likely never go away.

What I don't understand is why console players can disable crossplay but not us

More players on console, if the playerbase dwindles it will most noticeably be PC first.

TBH, I want the option since day one.
There ARE damn good console players, but it's rare...
And chances are you have better FPS players with mouse and keyboard, even if not "pro" level, thank console warriors

As elitist as it sounds. I agree. They are terrible, even the "good" ones are just terrible. Nothing worse than jumping in some quick matches to learn a new hero or grind them for Lord. Only to get 5 of your teammates as PS5 or Xbox. If they are healers, they top out like 4-6k heals after two rounds, if they tank they just jump into 1v6s with no support and if they are dps, they do like 5k damage with no kills or final hits and die 10+ times.

On top of this they are toxic as ♥♥♥♥ and they just babble on the mic and are the first to cry about heals yet are 2-18.

I really wish the devs would allow us to turn crossplay off. I am fine with waiting a longer queue time to excise this cancer from my game experience.

Never said there shouldn’t be an option.

Just explained why they probably didn’t give a crossplay option to PC.

PC players generally have an advantage over console players thats why theres no crossplay at all in ranked.

They also have the lowest playerbase most likely (Playstation + Xbox combined > PC)

If the PC playerbase drops by half, and you turn off crossplay on PC, your queue times are going to skyrocket.
