Lock heroes in comp
Individually lock all heroes in competitive, and only allow players to use them if they've had atleast 10 hours on them in QP.

So many games where DPS had 0 kills, and so many instances where players are testing out abilities like they're reading off the help screen and trying them out for the first time.

I'm fine with DPS comps, as long as they can actually hit something.

If you play enough matches, you won't see those people anymore, because to climb and stay at any given rank will require either exceptional skill or good coordination.

This is a very silly idea, because the moment they change anything about meta of the game and you no longer want to play your hero, you will be locked out of the competitive untill you learn a new one. And you are not that good, to have 10 hours on every character, bud.

if you did that you would lose a very competent vanguard

i don't have 10 hours on cap, mag and strange, but i can very much get the job done when i play them

Then make the hours to how many you think would be the minimum to learn a specific hero, make it so a certain hero requires a certain accuracy to unlock, make it so it can take a certain amount of damage to unlock, whatever. The point is, you have people in comp playing heroes they obviously have no experience with.

You can't can't snipe? Too bad, no widowmaker in comp for you then, go practice her in QP.

I've 100% been in a plat game and someone said "first time Wolverine lol".

10 hours insane, just make getting to Knight a requirement

Honestly i agree there needs to be a Limit before you can play "X" hero in ranked, Getting real sick of people playing Spiderman, Black Panther or Iron Man for the first time in ranked only to completely flop.....

I mean this genuinely, i would rather lose the CHANCE on having one decent player in comparison to the high probability to having multiple bad players. It's not worth it

It's hard for one player to carry a game, but its extremely easy for one player to lose it
I dont play comp but I agree. Comp is not the place to try out new heroes and stuff. I like the idea of them being locked until you have them at the first mastery tier (knight?), similar to what brawl stars does, and you should need at least 6 heroes at this level before comp is unlocked for new players (on the off chance your team picks all the others you have at this level).
