how do you glide/float for Doctor Strange

I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in the practice area using doctor strange and some how I cannot float just like in videos what button should hold on to?

You press Lshift once... if you will hold it then you will land and waste CD.

Then hold Space for flying upward or hold LCtrl for flying downward.
