I am trying to climb out of bronze, but, again according to my game history and comparing the ranks between teams, I arrive at the conclusion that the matchmaking system is simply completely broken.
From what I can see, it has beem designed to create verrryyyy short queues hence why people with so vastly different skills are put together in a single match.
It creates a miserable experience for the lower ranked players like me and many of those are on the verge of quitting the game because of that.
So, while I can understand where you come from, I err more on the side of issues with the matchmaking itself.
PS: A perfectly working matchmaking system is supposed to give you close to 50% win rates, not due to manipulation but due to the fact, that a certain point, you should reach a plateau and be paired with and against players of similar ranks.
Hence why the impression of a "forced" 50 percent win rate.
This is not the case here. If you're good, you'll rank up waayyyy more wins that the expected ration, and lower ranked can expect long defeat streaks due to imbalance in the matchmaking.
Even if i wished to buy some skins i would never do it, because supporting this trash business strategy is dumb
It's funny too because there is an actually way around that issue too, yet if you suggest it they always get defensive or can't be bothered with doing it. They'd rather just keep suffering through solo queuing.
Hop in voice chat, make some callouts and stay positive. You may lose, you may win, but if you keep a good attitude, most people will also have a good attitude.
I win more games making callouts than I lose. Playing support with simple things like "Iron Man, im with you lets chase these two" or "___ low" it geta people to focus instead of trying to fight their own battles.
Unfortunately, people either don't want to talk, are shy, have had bad experiences, whatever the reason.
The best thing you can do is remain positive. After that make callouts, then suggestions. Such as "hey, they are countering (insert hero here) lets try this if you can"
Note: I mainly played 50h of qp for achievements but that helped me getting the grip of the game.
