Do west coast servers just suck?
The closest server to me is Oregon yet I get the same ping if I play on the Dallas or East coast servers. The game is just a teleporting mess for me as I have never been below 150ms and this has been an everyday thing strictly only for this game.

I think they picked Oregon based on low datacentre hosting cost.

I can only imagine what hardware the game servers are being run on
