Just use the shortcuts for "I need healing" "attack here" "retreat" "My Ultimate is Ready" "Ping" to ping enemies and that's all. Don't bother doing or saying anything else. As you've noticed asking people to "Group Together" is usually pointless. Good players do it automatically. Bad players never listen.
For DPS role learn how to flank enemies and attack from weird angles. The key to success as a DPS, is taking your opponent unawares. Frontal assaults are riskier. Let the tank handle that. As DPS it is better to be sneaky and attack from weird angles outside of your target's notice. That is how to get kills easily. The more you learn this the better off you'll be as a DPS. This is what PVP FPS players have been doing for three decades since the Quake Arena days. The principles still apply today.
This game doesn't need escorting the payload. The payload moves by itself. Just kill stuff on the payload. It's not like Overwatch.
High ground is good but not always necessary. Background is better. Always attack from behind. Not always literally "behind" it means attacking from where the enemy is unaware of you. The blindspot. Blindspot is God. This can be at the back of your team, at the back of your team, above them, to the sides, wherever it is that your target won't see you coming from. You can use your teammates, especially your tank, to create the blindspot for you (this is what it means to "Create Space" for your DPS as a tank).
Don't pay attention to your stats. You'll just tilt. Focus on doing your job. If it's DPS, that job is secure kills. That's ALL YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT. Learn how to combo your attacks and cooldowns into a kill pattern that will result ina quick kill in as little time as possible... yep, you guessed it, from your enemy's blind spot.
Don't care about your accuracy, damage numbers, etc. Those don't matter. Focus on what's in front of you. Do your job. Dagger can get 95% accuracy easily every match. Does that mean she's doing a good job? Not necessarily.
You are just regurgitating theoreticals but I am not sure you understand what they mean. You probably don't if you're still struggling. You say as Tank you create space for your team... how? What exactly are you doing? Again just do your job and you will win, or at least contribute well to it. If you DPS, your job is to secure kills.
If you're tank, your job is to "Create Space" and that is a loaded term a lot of people don't understand. But the gist of it is, your job is to take the enemy's attention so that your healers don't get molested and your DPS can ply their trade. Focusing the enemy support is sometimes that, but is not what it is in essence. Only Dive Tanks like Venom should be doing that. If you're Peni Parker or Dr. Strange, for instance, you should not be focusing the enemy support -- unless they're on the frontlines dueling you like some Jeffs do.
As for losing streaks, if you are getting them that means you're already at the rank you belong in. if I get into losing streaks I just take a break and play again later. I'm obviously too tilted at that point and that is affecting my play. Take a break and relax and do something else and come back when your frame of mind is better.
If you're stuck in Gold and losing, it means that's your real rank. To rise further you need to get better than you are now. Part of that is map awareness, etc. and as you noticed improving your mechanical skills (like increasing your overall accuracy). It is just a matter of honing your basics down, but as you're past your gaming prime there's only so much you can do with mechanicals. I get it. I'm 46 and I have the same issue. I used to do headshots with sniper rifles while jumping around in Quake but those days are well behind me. Focus on improving your game awareness, positioning, and attacking from odd angles. That takes map knowledge.
Also work on mastering every hero or at least knowing how they play, so you know how to counter them. Focus on counterswitching, too. Counterpicking strong opponents is key in Hero Shooters. If they have a strong Namor or Loki, for instance, switching to Moon Knight gives you a huge advantage. If they have a strong Mantis, you can probably get a lot of mileage switching to a poke hero like Hela or Hawkeye. Master heroes that are good at different roles -- and I don't mean "Tank, DPS, Support." I mean roles like Dive, Backline, Support, Main Tank, Off Tank. Jeff for instance is a support but can play as a Backline support, Backline DPS, Dive DPS. He's flexible enough to do either job.
Lots of heroes can do the same. Find heroes that can do different roles and counter different hero strategies. Learn how to counter specific hero strategies and which heroes to switch to to execute your counter. Many of these are meta but you can get anything to work if it works for you. I can reliably counter Iron Fist with Loki, for instance. But Moon Knight is a pain in the butt. Find counters for all heroes and master your hero counter of choice.
Thats all i can share, hope you wont stress yourself out from your journey and wish you all the best. (btw as a 'casual' support player 20k healing is too much for me to reach since 10k is usually high already haha).
