Low server ping but high in game ping issue

Hi guys,

I was curious if anybody else is having this issue. When marvel rivals first released I was around 70 ping in game but over the past few days my ping hovers around 100 with a yellow bar. The server says 37 ping to Dallas and 42 ping to Oregon. Those are the only 2 I have checked. Has anyone found a fix to this or have similar issues?

I'm having the same issue, oddly enough in ranked my ping only spikes up to 1,000 as we're winning

Basically the same issue yeah. Only my ping can spike up to 200+ and i get horrible packet loss. Every single game is unplayable now. Only been happening since the update

What happened is they went from displaying the one way ping travel time to two way to server and back.
It still shows 25ms in the server browser, but ingame its now showing 50ms (for me), your numbers seem to follow suit

i havent been having spikes too high but it says I'm 59ms to server but I get jumping between 85-95 while in game which is really aids

If it says 59ms in the server browser then ingame it should show as about 118ms, because again, ingame is the ping time to and from the server, browser is just one way

I have noticed that sometimes my ping will be around 50-60 in game then the next game it goes back to 90-100. It's really weird, I've never seen anything like this in any other games,

Could be
1)servers throwing you to a different region for some reason sometimes
2)its showing one way ping and two way randomly for some reason
3)poor routing, you could change your DNS settings to google's if you havent already, pretty easy to google a youtube tutorial for that, idk if it will help but it wont hurt
