I play 50 games on mantis, get pretty decent on her, my SBMM score goes up, then i pick up Loki, SBMM score is still based on my performance on mantis, my first game on loki, i'll practically be throwing every game until my SBMM score goes down. it'll likely be even worse once i've gone through all the supports and moved on to tanks.
I'm basing this on my experience on overwatch when i was learning heroes. When i was learning how to DPS, i absolutely cannot pick tank or it'll artificially raise my MMR to well above what my DPS is capable of and my DPS will get trampled (i was a tank main, games i play practically blindfolded on tank, will wreck my DPS).
If you're solo queuing, expect noobs at every match to be on your team. You better be sweaty AF if you want to win.
Its not skill based in quickplay.
If you are in ranked maybe you are still in bronze, it gets better the higher you go.
It's so hard to find a friend with common games these days
you just explained sbmm in longer format
i swear to god some of you ppl online have no idea what you're talking about

Ranked will naturally be better but you've got to do the effort to get up high enough where everyone takes it seriously.
