I'm so sick of getting in grps where NO heals or NO tank etc. F'ing trash system you need to follow Blizzards foot steps and implement forced roles. You copied everything else why stop now.

Honestly role queue was almost entirely a good thing. Queue times were never even that bad for DPS. I used to play Ashe and Echo sometimes and they were a little longer, but never more than a minute or two. And even as DPS it was worth it to have a good DPS experience, it's not like a 5 dps 1 support game is fun for the DPS either.

No because 2/2/2 isn't even the optimal setup for this game, meta right now is 1/3/2.

Forcing roles kills the meta and devolves the game into everyone playing the same heroes because they are the best options for 2/2/2 all the time. Which for this game means we get Strange/Magneto/Iron Man/Psylocke/Mantis/Luna every game with Hela/Hawkeye always banned.

I absolutely agree at least in comp there are smart enough players that follow it but in qp the team that goes 222 almost always wins. Their player base is going to die out fast if it stays open like this

Exactly. People are being corny about the discussion, but most of the people I've seen in favor of role que ARE the people who play healers and tanks.

Don’t you worry, the Marvel-Rivals devs are following Blizzard’s mistakes to the letter, like a kid copying answers off a failing test.

Overwatch dropped back in 2016, and it wasn’t until three years later, in 2019, that they finally introduced Role Lock—only because they were forced to stop the "GOATS" meta. You know, that ridiculous three-tank, three-support setup that turned the game into a snooze-fest. But by the time they made that change, Overwatch was already "Super-Dead."

So congrats, folks! Don’t expect Role Lock in Marvel-Rivals until, what, late 2027? By then, the game will be down to, oh, maybe 5,000 active players. Bravo.

I used to swap to Heal and/or tank just to be blamed for everything that went wrong.
Now i lock in Squirrel Girl and everyone who wants a non-dps role can suck my Acorns
